This website is dedicated to my journey into the symbiotic relationship between humans, our natural environment, knowledge through education and available natural resources. As I have grown older ~ and possibly wiser, it has been my experience that the highest levels of homeostasis involve being well rested, nourished, and in sync with our surroundings.
Through my experience on this Earth, I have gained access to a lot of knowledge on various subjects, from unusual perspectives. However one concept has echoed that has become a large determining factor as to why I have divided the presented information into many categories and am hopeful that I can enlighten others for future generations, is as follows: Here is the premise behind the building of this website and my knowledge basis,…..(1) There are the things you know that you know, (2) there are the things that you know that you don’t know, (3) there are abundant things that you don’t even realize, that you don’t know, (4) there are many things you are certain you don’t want to know, which you may already know.
That is confusing – and my research has been also, but I am a good self researcher and determined to assemble some of what I have absorbed into fun and educational resources that can be shared in a comprehendible and tangible way for others.
Eventually, my personal goal is to establish a plot of land for a permaculture homestead that our future generations can benefit from physically and financially. I’ve found this path to have many branches and a few obstacles. Though my intention is to document and share my experiences, I am hopeful that I am able to present the information I’ve researched clearly and plan to regularly add content to share some of the process – please know that this is a journey for me also & reach out to me with your questions or concerns if you wish.
*Please know – I am not alone (entirely), I am recently married at 50 years old to my childhood sweetheart. Long story short as possible – his mother remarried and moved out of state when I was 14 and he was 16. We lost contact for roughly 28 years, then reunited (initially by way of social media, then in person), and have enjoyed a long distance courtship for several years before tying the knot in April 2024. So it’s a clean slate and a fresh start for our future together & we are prepared to build a beautiful dream, and share the trenches. Sometimes you find a little magic when you turn the page,…..
