About the Creator of PollyNation

Born in 1974 in Bethlehem PA, my formative years were spent primarily in Pennsylvania. Our family resided in small agricultural community with many farms nearby that are privately owned and operated. My first work experiences included harvesting raspberries and potatoes, babysitting children of the families that attended our local church, and learning from my angelic mother and father – the mechanical engineer and relentless “DIY Guy”. Though I attended a small town school and enjoyed a traditional family life, learning about the jewelry making industry by apprenticeship led to making a decision that was life changing.

In 1996, I began the next chapter of my life in Volusia County, Florida, woking as a bench jeweler inside the local mall. My life changed and improved dramatically during my experiences in the following years. I achieved a Bachelor’s Degree at UCF in Business Management, learned the many lessons of predominantly single parenting after a short marriage, and grieved the losses of many precious loved ones. Most notably I learned change is inevitable, and the more accepting you are of adapting to it, the more capable of success you can become.

Education, is not a substitute for experience. During almost 30 years in a Florida based tourism economy, customer service has deteriorated significantly. While I resided there I worked in many various industries outside of jewelry making, including an industrial manufacturing plant in both wholesale and retail sales, the financial aid department at UCF (while attending classes), sales representative for a fine art gallery, restaurant manager, a promotional model, and marketing director for a national tax firm. I eventually became a residential Realtor, property manager, and property owner.

2024 has delivered many exciting opportunities. I have chosen to relocate to Texas for love, and improved legacy. This portion of my journey is an extension of what my previous experiences encompass, and an attempt to share the knowledge I have gained with others in a way that may evolve your future on a personal level. My goal is not to change the world, just the way you perceive it.

Albert Einstein said: The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results.

I believe that evolution is possible through sharing knowledge and initiating a change in the personal behavior of others that can be understood and shared with others easily.

Welcome to a world of limitless possibilities, where the journey is as exhilarating as the destination, and where every moment is an opportunity to make your mark on the canvas of existence. The only limit is the extent of your imagination.
